Holy Crap!!!

So sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been more active on Facebook lately and just kinda forgot about the site. Anyways, sorry!! A few people have emailed me asking about how to download the mixes on here and the best thing I can tell you guys is to click on the mix, and when it opens up and starts playing, go to “file” and then “save page as”. That should save the page as an MP3 and it should be wherever you have your downloads go. Obviously, I’m also assuming that you are using Firefox.
The reason I came back here was mostly because, I made a new mix!! Awesome, right!? I haven’t made one in ages and I’ve been kicking myself for it. I really like this mix. I tried to not play as many vocally tracks but they are all still very awesome tunes. It’s definitely has an old school vibe to it. So, share it with everyone you know!!

Apparently there is another Dj Squiggles on Facebook and I’ve noticed a few ravers have “liked” this person thinking it was me. So, to put an end to the confusion I sucked it up and created a Facebook fan page HERE, so go ahead and “like” it and share it with your friends and enemies.

In other news, there isn’t any right now. I’m working on a new mix and hopefully I can come up with something neat and cool. There’s a lot of amazing tunes coming out right now and I’m pretty excited!

So, I’ve been seriously lacking on the updates. Enough with the excuses, let’s just get to the important stuff!! So, I recently joined a crew here in Minneapolis called Hard Dance Minnesota, which is an affiliate of Hard Dance Nation. We will be putting on shows here in town, bringing some of the best in HARD music. In the coming weeks, we got Cat Like Thief coming all the way from Detroit to play some UK Hardcore, then the show after that, which is the big one, D-Block & S-Te-Fan. If you like hardstyle that’ll be the show to go to! We got plenty of surprises, so make sure you “like” the page on Facebook for all future updates for whose coming and whatnot. Also, while you’re “liking” things on Facebook, check out our dancers Bass Kandi. They are all pretty rad.

That’s my next show! In case you didn’t notice. It’s gonna be a rad time and there’s tons of hardcore. Hope to see you guys out! Not too many parties have their own websites, so if that is not a good sign, I dunno what it is. check it out at Malfunktion

Just played an amazing show in Detroit called Raise It Up! It was probably one if the funnest sets I’ve played in awhile. The crowd was super hyped and ready to party. It was also my first show in Detroit so, I’m hoping there will be more in the future. I posted pictures on my Facebook. I should probably figure out how to post pictures on my website.

This coming weekend, I’ll be playing a show in Portland called Candy kids vs Zombie Chickens

It should be a great time!!! After that, I’m heading back to Seattle for Happy Chronica on December 18th. That’s gonna be a huge show! I’m really excited for that show.

There’s a lot of great things happening in the coming months. I’m pretty excited to be out playing again. Last weekend basically got me excited and pumped for gigs. Not like I wasn’t before but it just kicked me into high gear. I’m hoping I can go find a recorder and start recording my live sets again. I was really bummed when I couldn’t find my recorder for this last weekend. It rocked so hard.

One of North America’s biggest Hardcore producers, Milo has been giving away free tunes. I recommend them all, they are all great! Get them here!

Wow, I haven’t posted anything in awhile. Life’s been busy!!

Not much has been going on the Hardcore front for me. Just been waiting for my gigs to show up. I’m very excited to be playing in Detroit at the end of this month. Should be a huge party!!

I’m playing my first show ever in Detroit. It sounds like it’s going to be a wicked time. I’m pretty excited and looking forward to making it out there. I was supposed to play out there in late September but something happened and I ended up getting a new date. Hope to see some people out and about!!

OH NO Schlomo! Fund Raising Benefit for Leon Shambroom

I’m playing a benefit to help out a friend who is in the hospital from smoke inhalation when his house caught fire. All proceeds are going to his family to help pay for medical costs and whatever else that is needed. I’ll post a link when there is one if anyone wants to help donate some dollars. Every little bit helps!

My first show out of retirement will be the Forbidden Fruit Music Festival somewhere in Wisconsin. I’m still not a huge fan of camp outs but this one should be pretty fun. There’s a ton of dj’s and a bunch of stages. Rumor has it that there is going to be a renegade Minneapolis stage. So, get your presales early and show up and get a good camping site.
